EGB SUMMARY: Core EGBs are flat early Monday having recovered early losses,
while periphery spreads are trading mixed.
- The Jun 19 Bund future is down 1 ticks at 164.61, low of 164.37 earlier.
- German cash curve slightly steeper (Buxl underperforming): The 2-Yr yield is
up 0.1bps at -0.558%, 5-Yr is up 0.6bps at -0.369%, 10-Yr is up 0.4bps at
0.059%, and 30-Yr is up 1.4bps at 0.719%.
- BTP futures are flat but spread of 10-Yr Italian BTPs vs Bunds is down 1bps at
247.5bps; Greece down another 2.3bps at 321.6bps. Conversely, Spain and Portugal
trading wider by around 2bps.
- Semi-core a touch weaker. Jun OAT futures (OA) down 10 ticks at 161.32 (L:
161.23 / H: 161.67).
- Euribor strip completely flat, +/- 0.5 ticks.
- E.U.`s Malmstrom said would publish a list of U.S. products that could be hit
by retaliatory tariffs by Brussels if Boeing WTO case negotions break down.
- However little reaction as this was reported by various outlets last week.
- ECB's Villeroy speaks in New York at 1730UK time.
