months after string of 0.1% gains
- Y/Y core PCE price index seen +1.4%, still below Fed target, but should lock
in Dec hike.  
- Personal spending expected to rise 0.3% after Sept's hurricane driven 1.0%
surge.
- Personal income seen +0.3%, but some analysts predict a softer figure based on
Oct's flat avg hourly earnings.
- Analysts worry about a continuing downward trend of savings rate, to a new
decade-low, reflecting booming equity market.
