  • Korea’s Deputy Trade Minister will meet with officials from the US Department of Commerce and Trade to discuss tariffs and US/Korean trade policies according to a release from the Trade Minister’s office. (source: Yonhap).
  • South Korea and Malaysia plan to hold their seventh round of negotiations for a bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) Monday, as the two sides seek to broaden their trade portfolio and enhance cooperation, Seoul's industry ministry said.  The latest round of talks for an FTA was scheduled to kick off Monday for four  days in Kuala Lumpur, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.   • The KOSPI has been on a good run at present, given the discussions on extra budgets.  Up for the fifth day in succession, by +.70%.
  • KRW:  the won has had a quiet start to the week, hovering around where it started at 1,440.59.
  • Bonds:  Yields drifted higher today marginally with the 10YR 2.863% (+0.5bp).
