CPC Blend Exports Rose to 6-Month High in September

CPC Blend crude shipments from the terminal near Russia’s Black Sea port of Novorossiysk last month rose to the highest level in six months at 1.41mbpd, up from 1.32mbpd in August, according to port agent reports and Bloomberg ship tracking data.

  • Around 1.55mn tons of CPC Blend were shipped to Asia last month, up from 1.53mn tons in August and the highest level since May.
  • Asian CPC purchases were led by China that received 529,000tons in September, followed by South Korea with 402,000tons and India with 390,000tons.
  • Caspian CPC Blend loadings are expected at 1.39mbpd in October. September loadings were slayed at 1.28mbpd according to Bloomberg sources.
