Croatia Plans to Expand LNG Capacity

Croatia plans to expand its LNG capacity from 2.6bcm to 6.1bcm by end-2024, Croatia’s Energy Secretary Ivo Milatic said.

  • The project will cost around €30mn, financed from a combination of EU grants and budget funds.
  • Croatia has been in talks with Austria and Bavaria to expand the LNG KRK plant by additional 10bcm.
