The number of supertankers signaling China in the next 90 days has climbed to the highest in more than two years, according to Bloomberg vessel tracking.
- 125 tankers are headed to China, up by two from last week.
- China has been pulling in higher crude volumes to support higher domestic refinery runs.
- Chinese refiners processed 63.2M tons of crude in March, up 8.8% on a yearly basis.
- That’s the highest ever for the month of March, and equals 14.97 million barrels a day, the biggest daily volume on record.
