Curve A Touch Flatter, Equities Bid

US TSYS

A bid in equities (with both the major regional Asia-Pac indices that are open at this time & e-minis bid, with the latter through their Monday highs) is seemingly resulting in USD weakness and a modest bid in the U.S. Tsys space, although the moves in Tsys are quite limited, with the major cash Tsy benchmarks running little changed to 1bp richer across the curve and TYZ2 dealing within a 0-03 range thus far.

  • There hasn’t been much in the way of an overt catalyst, with the equity move seemingly an extension of the recovery and rally that was seen during NY dealing (see earlier bullets for more details).
