Curve Steepens

US TSYS

The cash curve bear steepens in early Asia dealing, with the major benchmarks running 0.5-1.5bp cheaper on the day. Tsy futures continue to operate above their early session troughs after weakness in e-minis, risk negative weekend news flow and focus on the impending headline risk surrounding the Russia-Ukraine situation allowed the space to correct from the early flow-driven, NY spill over lows. TYM2 last -0-06+ at 117-19, operating around the middle of its early 0-08+ range.
