DOLLAR-YEN
DOLLAR-YEN: Despite firmer Japanese equities, consolidation remains the theme
mid-way through the Asian trading session, the dollar holding a narrow Y110.65
to Y110.85 range. Option expiries are seemingly influencing trading, with
several large strikes between Y110.75-80 ($1.74bn) keeping the range confined.
Further sideways seems likely heading toward the European open. Hourly
resistance is seen at Y110.85, while support is found at Y110.59 (38.2% fib
Y109.85-Y111.05) a break opens Y110.45 (50% on the same move). Dollar-yen is
changing hands at Y110.67.
