EURO-STERLING: Downside pressure on the cross sees rate approach its earlier low
of Gbp0.8877, as rate reacts to general pressure on the EUR, in turn providing
some buoyancy for cable. A break of Gbp0.8877 to expose the Jul26 low of
Gbp0.8865. Sterling enjoying some support ahead of today's BOE MPC rate
decision, a 25bp hike expected but the vote split will be in focus. Inflation
Report, release of BOE r* and Carney press conference to provide the full
picture.
