  • On Indo-Pacific: G7 remains seriously concerned about situation in East and South China Seas. Strongly oppose any unilateral attempts to change status quo by force or coercion. We affirm importance of peace and stability across Taiwan Strait. No change in basic positions of G7 members on Taiwan, including stated one-China policies. Call on China to press Russia to stop its military aggression. No legal basis for China's expansive maritime claims in South China Sea, oppose China's militarisation activities in region. Reiterate importance of free and open Indo-Pacific.
  • On Iran: G7 reiterate clear determination Iran must never develop nuclear weapon. Remain deeply concerned about Iran's unabated escalation of nuclear programme. Express grave concern regarding Iran's continued destabilising activities, including transfer of missiles, UAVs. Iran must stop supporting Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. Call on Iran to cease transferring armed UAVs which are being used to kill Ukrainian civilians.
  • On North Korea: G7 strongly condemns North Korea's unprecedented number of unlawful ballistic missile launches. Reckless actions must be met with swift, united, robust international response.'
