It has been a fairly sedate start to Asia-Pac trade, outside of the downtick in e-minis mentioned in the previous bullet, with regional participants settling down to business in the first trading session of a new month.

  • G10 FX pairs are tight, after the DXY moved off of month-end related worst levels on Monday.
  • PMI readings from around the region dominate the local docket on Tuesday, with the RBA's latest monetary policy decision also due (see our preview of the event for further details).
