Early focus on Italian supply

  • Bund has pared some of its gains overnight, opening with a small 10 ticks gap, following the big rallies across Equities, Govies and Rate futures markets, post US CPI yesterday.
  • Estoxx future still trade at its highest level since the start of the Year (February).
  • Resistance in Bund is at 140.44 (gap), and above the latter, some will look at 140.72, Yesterday's high, but better is seen at 140.92.
  • Support moves up to 139.24 initially.
  • There's no tier 1 data for Europe, and all the focus will be on the US Prelim Michigan.
  • SUPPLY: Early focus will be on the Italian supply, 2026, 2029 and 2035 (Equates combined to 51k BTP), should weigh into the bidding deadline.
  • SPEAKER: ECB Holzmann, Panetta, Guindos, lane, de Cos, Centeno, Nagel, SNB Jordan, BoE Haskel, Tenreyro.
