ECB Asset purchase data including country....>

DUE UP
DUE UP: ECB Asset purchase data including country by country totals and average
durations are being released at 1545CET. Note that because of increasing
redemptions, the average maturity of purchases have been less useful to
calculate the marginal maturity being purchased. However, only Italian paper
redeemed in August (and in large amounts) meaning that only Italian calculations
are artificially distorted higher in the average data. So beware if you see
estimated buying maturities leap in Italy.
- Total PSPP buying will be much lighter than usual because the ECB scales back
in illiquid months. Among the big countries over the past four months buying has
averaged:
- E12.12bln in Germany,
- E10.73bln in France,
- E9.53bln in Italy,
- E6.29bln in Spain,
- E2.74bln in Neths.
