ECB CES Inflation Exp. Applies Some Pressure

The modest uptick in the 1-Year inflation expectations metric (+0.1ppt to 3.3%) within the ECB’s CES and an unchanged 3-Year reading (at 2.5%, BBG survey median saw a 0.1ppt fall) helps the early London weakness in core FI markets extend a little.

  • Overnight lows in TY futures haven’t been tested as of yet, but are close by, while both Bund & gilt futures still sit comfortably off yesterday’s low.
