(Apr: -38.6); Retail: -29.7 (Apr: -30.1); Construction: -17.4 (Apr: 16.1). 
- The ESI ticked up marginally by 2.6pt in May following a downwardly revised
April reading 
- May's uptick was led by improvements in consumer and industry sentiment,
although both indices remain at historically low levels 
- On the other hand, services sentiment fell further in May, led by a
deterioration in the assessment of past business situation and past demand. 
- Retail trade confidence ticked up marginally, while construction sentiment
fell further
