    • Floodwaters have reached the centre of Manaus, a metropolis in Brazil's Amazon region, reported news website G1 on Monday. At least 20 communities have declared emergencies. More than 400,000 people are affected, according to civil protection agents cited by G1.
  • Economy Ministry will release GDP and inflation forecasts for 2021 at 9:30am local.
    • Special Secretary of Finance Bruno Funchal and Secretary of Economic Policy Adolfo Sachsida comment the numbers by videoconference at 10am.
  • Brazil's former minister of Foreign Affairs Ernesto Araujo is expected to testify at Senate's Covid-19 probe, starting 9am.
