EdF To Start 24-Hour Strike Action Monday Evening

Workers at EdF’s nuclear sites in France will strike from Monday evening 9PM for 24 hours which is likely to reduce the country’s nuclear output, remit data show.

  • EdF announced additional 24-hour strike action from 10 Feb.
  • EdF has already reduced output at its 1.33GW Paluel 2 reactor to 700MW on Monday amid planned strike action.
  • Prior to the industrial action, EdF has extended the outage at the 1.495GW Civaux 2 reactor from 19 Feb to 1 Mar.
