EdF Workers to Start Strike Action on Monday

ELECTRICITY

France’s EdF has issued 24-hour strike notice starting 29 January 21:00 CET, a remit message showed, after several energy unions called on workers to start industrial action, demanding an increase in wages.

  • Strikes at EdF usually significantly weigh on the country’s nuclear generation availability. It is still unclear how much output will be affected by the industrial action.
