BUNDS: Edging to the intraday high post Cash Open

BUNDS
  • A contained range for Bund, but some elevated volumes for an overnight session, although nothing big.
  • Noted Yesterday, that some Desks might start to look if the 10yr Yield could be somewhat toppish around the 2.55% level, printed a 2.557% high Yesterday.
  • In terms of futures level, the next area of interest is at the 131.00 figure, although as mentioned Yesterday the 2.60% level is nearer 130.94.
  • Initial resistance is unchanged at 132.26.
  • German PPI came below expectations, a miss, but had very little impact in Bund, gained 4 tick on the release, but Bund is edging to session on more than likely Cash related flows since the Open.
  • Focus today is on the US IJC, and as just mentioned earlier the Japanese CPI Tonight.
  • ECB will Publish its Financial statement.
  • SUPPLY: Spain 3s, 5s, 9s, France 2028, 2029, 2030, plus multiple Linkers. US Sells $9bn of 30yr TIPS, should have limited impact in Treasuries.
