Slovakia, the EU, Austria and Germany have already sold bonds this week for E8.3bln. Portugal, Italy, Spain and France are all yet to sell bonds this week for a further E23.6bln. We look for gross nominal issuance of E31.9bln, over double last week's E13.8bln.

  • Slovakia came to the market on Monday and sold E175mln of the 2.25% Jun-68 SlovGB (ISIN: SK4120014184).
  • The EU held a E6.0bln syndication yesterday of the new long 20-year Feb-43 Green EU-bond (ISIN: EU000A3K4DG1).
  • Also yesterday, Austria sold a total of E1.495bln of 10/25-year RAGBs via auction: E920mln the 0.90% Feb-32 RAGB (ISIN: AT0000A2WSC8) and E575mln the 1.50% Feb-47 RAGB (ISIN: AT0000A1K9F1). E800mln and E500mln were allotted respectively.
  • Also on Tuesday, Germany sold E600mln of linkers: E500mln (E432mln allotted) of the 0.50% Apr-30 ILB (ISIN: DE0001030559) and E100mln (E47mln allotted) of the 0.10% Apr-46 ILB (ISIN: DE0001030575).
