EGB Supply For W/C May 23, 2022 (2/2): Recap

EUROZONE ISSUANCE
  • On Wednesday, Germany sold E2bln of the 15-year 1.00% May-38 Bund at auction with E1.724bln allotted (ISIN: DE0001102598).
  • Finland launched its new long 10-year 1.50% Sep-32 FRGB via syndication in a E3bln WNG transaction with books of E12.75bln.
  • France launched its inaugural inflation-linked green bond via syndication, the 0.10% Jul-38 Green OATei with a transaction size of E4bln and books of E27bln.
  • Concluding Wednesday's syndications, Lithuania launched a new 10-year bond 2.125% Jun-32 Lithuanian Eurobond via syndication for E650mln, with books of E820mln
  • Issuance for the week concluded on Thursday with Italy selling E2.25bln of the 0% Nov-23 BTP Short Term (ISIN: IT0005482309) and E1.25bln of the 0.10% May-33 BTPei (ISIN: IT0005482994).

NET NOMINAL FLOWS: There will be E30.7bln of redemptions this week (E29.2bln of which are a French OAT with an original maturity of five years) and coupon payments of E10.2bln (of which E9.1bln are Spanish). This leaves estimated net flows for the week at negative E9.7bln (down from positive E19.5bln last week).
