EIA Data Shows US Gas Stocks Edge Further Above Normal Levels

US Natgas eases lower after a smaller expected draw in US gas inventories and well below the five year average withdrawals due to moderate demand, steady production and LNG exports still limited with Freeport yet to return to full operation.

    • US Natgas APR 23 up 1.4% at 2.47$/mmbtu
  • The latest EIA weekly gas inventories for the week ending 10 Mar showed a -58bcf draw compared to expectation of a -62bcf draw and the 5-year average for this time of year of -95bcf.
  • Total US inventories are near the top of the five year range at 1,972bcf.
