Energy – What to watch
- The latest monthly EIA Short Term Energy Outlook report will be released today normally between 17:00 and 17:15 BST. The report will provide forecasts for the coming month with high uncertainty over both supply and demand. The Monthly IEA and OPEC reports are expected to be released next week.
- The latest weekly API oil inventory data is due for release after the close today at 16:30 EST ahead of the EIA data tomorrow. The current expectation is that crude stocks will fall again this week with small builds in gasoline and distillates as refiners maintaining high run rates to try to keep up with demand.
