ELECTRICITY: Germany Concludes Rooftop Solar, Biomass Tender on 1 October

Bnetza is concluding the latest rooftop solar PV and biomass tender rounds on Tuesday, it said. 

  • Germany is offering 258MW of rooftop solar PV capacity in the tender round closing 1 October with the highest bidding price set at 10.50ct/kWh with a minimum bidding capacity of 1MW.
  • Bnetza is also concluding the latest Biomass tender on Tuesday with offered capacity totalling 233.78MW. Existing plants can achieve a price of 19.83ct/KWh, while new plants can achieve a price of 19.43ct/KWh.
