Emmer & Johnson Last Two Candidates In GOP Speaker Race

Multiple D.C. journalists claiming that in the fourth round of voting for the Republican House Speaker nominee, Rep. Kevin Hern (R-OK) and Trumpist House Freedom Caucus member Byron Donalds (R-FL) left the contest having each won 25 votes. This leaves Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) (107 votes) up against Mike Johnson (R-LA) (56 votes) in the final ballot.
