Energy Aspects Director of Research Amrita Sen on oil prices in earlier Bloomberg TV interview:

  • “Crude’s probably going to remain range-bound for now” she said.
  • “There are no direct risks to supplies” from the Middle East crisis, “and that’s probably what’s made it very hard for oil to rally” Sen added.
  • “People can’t short this market, but the macro picture has deteriorated — quite significantly since the last couple of weeks” Sen said.
  • European and US demand numbers “definitely are weaker” she finished.
