ENERGY: What to Watch: ARA Oil Product Stocks & EIA Gas Stocks

  • The EIA weekly gas inventories for the week ending Sept. 20 will be released this afternoon at 10:30 ET (15:30BST). The expectation is for a build of 52bcf according to a Bloomberg survey following a build of 58bcf the previous week. The seasonal normal is a build of around 86bcf.
  • The updated Insights Global European ARA product inventories will be released today around 15:15BST. Gasoil stocks were last week up at 2.57m mt compared to the previous five year average of around 2.3m mt while ARA Gasoline stocks were still below normal at 0.99m mt.
