US: Equity futures remain in the red ahead of the Wall Street opening bell,
indicating a lower open Tuesday. Dow component Home Depot is weighing somewhat
following a disappointing earnings report and sits lower by over 3% pre-market.
US Treasury yields sit at the lowest levels since Feb20 with the reversal in
risk appetite overnight in Asia still weighing globally.
Poor housing starts/building permits numbers also prompting markets to take risk
off the table, hurting the greenback slightly in currency markets: USD index hit
lowest levels since Feb6 in the European morning and briefly fell below the
50-dma at 96.283.
