Erdogan Cancels Campaign Rallies Due to Sickness

President Erdogan says he’ll rest at home on advice from his doctors in Twitter post. He said he suffered a minor sickness due to his heavy schedule.

  • The President suffered an unexpected health issue yesterday evening during a live television interview which briefly stopped broadcasting
  • Erdogan had been scheduled to visit Kirikkale, Yozgat and Sivas provinces. Vice President Fuat Oktay will participate in the programs instead.
  • Erdogan says he’ll continue his programs as of Thursday.
