EU LNG Imports Dip But Well Above Last Year

LNG net imports into Europe averaged 384mcm/d last week compared to 409 the previous week. Imports are still well above normal with last year averaging 185mcm/d at this time of year.

  • Another 10 cargoes are expected into terminals in NW Europe before the end of the month. A cargo expected in to Montoir in France on Nov 4 is the first from Indonesia in recent years with supplies normally heading to Asia.
  • The US LNG netback to Europe is estimated at 34.87$/mmbtu while the netback to Asia is estimated at 25.47$/mmbtu.
  • TTF NOV 22 down -12.1% at 99.8€/MWh
  • NBP NOV 22 down -11.8% at 180p/th
  • JKM Nov 22 up 2% at 33$/mmbtu
  • US Natgas NOV 22 down -2% at 4.86$/mmbtu
