EU to Import more Product from Middle East in July

European imports of diesel and jet fuel from the Middle East are to increase in July according to Vortexa ship tracking data.

  • Approximately 2.56m tons of refined products are expected into Europe from the Middle East this month. 1.46m tons have already arrived and 1.1m tons is still expected on 18 tankers. This will be the most since June 2020.
  • Diesel imports are expected at 1.36m tons, the highest for three months
  • Jet Fuel imports are expected at 1.11m tons, the highest this year.
