EURO-DOLLAR
EURO-DOLLAR: EUR/USD fell ~60 pips Thursday & last sits at $1.1366, nearly
unchanged in the early part of the Asia-Pac session.
- The rate came under modest pressure Thursday from the escalation of the
conflict between Rome and Brussels over the former's expansionary fiscal plan.
Italy's FinMin Tria & PM Conte criticised the fresh growth estimates by the EU
Commission, which downgraded Italy's outlook, as biased & inadequate.
- The pair then registered a decline on the back of the latest FOMC decision, as
the dollar moved higher.
- A close below $1.1400 returned the bearish focus to the Nov 5 low at $1.1354
with the next downside target falling on the Nov1/Oct31 lows of $1.1309/02.
Conversely, bulls need to retake 21-DMA at $1.1433 before challenging
yesterday's high of $1.1445.
- Eurozone docket towards the end of the week is rather dry. Highlights include
