EGB SUMMARY: Eurex encountered significant technical issues today and opened one
hour 20 minutes late. When it finally opened, the contract was up 1 tick at
158.24. 
- The yield curve has displayed a subtle bull flattening, reinforcing the trend
that has been in place for the past month.
- Little movement in sovereign spreads to Germany.
- ECB's Peter Praet is speaking dovishly as usual rising labour supply suggests
the euro area's economic slack may be greater than previously thought. Also he
is against an early change to guidance.
- There is no supply today. On the data front, eurostat publishes final Eurozone
HICP at 1000GMT. One of the key events will be after the US close when Fitch and
S&P both update their Republic of Italy ratings.
