- EURHUF has been trending higher this week after finding support slightly below the 395 level yesterday.
- NBH is meeting today and is likely to proceed with a 100bps hike, particularly now that selling pressure on HUF has been rising again.
- Chances are slightly skewed to the downside (i.e. 75bps hike) as market has been pricing in a lower hike than analysts’ estimates (BBG median consensus: 100bps hike).
- Resistance to watch on the topside stands at 407.
- On the downside, support to watch stands at 397.40 (50DMA).
