Europe Dependent on External Supplies Despite Full Storage


European storage is up to 93.65% full as at Oct 18. The countries with the largest storage are Germany at 236.9TWh (96.49% full), Italy at 182.4TWh (94.27%), France at 131.6TWh (99.26%) and Netherlands at 128.8TWh (92.68%).

  • Despite holding the largest stocks these countries are still dependant on other supplies with Germany for example only holding around 25% of annual consumption
