Europe Pi Positioning Update: Shorts Still Dominant

A quick update on Europe FI futures positioning from last week: we mostly saw a further move toward short territory across contracts.

  • Apart from a couple of shifts in structural positioning (Bund moved from flat to short, BTP from short to very short), we saw longs reduced (Schatz, Bobl, BTP) and short setting (Bund, Buxl, Oat) pretty much across the board last week (Gilt the exception, with some short cover).
