European Developer Plans 2GW of Polish PV

European renewable energy firm Sun Investment Group (SIG) will build 1.97GW of solar PV projects in Poland as it has secured debt financing for the projects, German-based financial advisor Capcora said.

  • SIG's pipeline includes 323 projects ranging from 1-120MW, with approximately 100MW ready to build, 1.12GW in mid-stage, and 750MW in early-stage.
  • The firm's portfolio currently consists of over 3GW, with nearly 300MW ready-to-build. SIG has developed, built, and sold over 200MW of solar power plants in the UK, Poland, and Lithuania.
