European Diesel Imports from Russia Falling

Russian diesel exports to Europe have declined by 8% in May versus April at 646,520 bpd according to Vortexa. It marks a seven-month low.

  • European diesel imports of non-Russian origin reached 522,404 bpd in May.
  • Europe has been slower to reduce product imports compared to oil imports from Russia as the region grapples tightness ahead of summer. European refined products are also in demand from the US where they are battling their own tight supply.
