European, Iranian Diplos Take V. Different View Of Latest Vienna Talks

Reports emerging from the latest JCPoA talks in Vienna suggest that the E3 (European) diplomats take a polar opposite view from those of the Iranian delegation as to the progress made during this week's negotiations.

  • Barak Ravid at Walla News tweets: "BREAKING: E3 diplomat tells me: No real progress this week in the nuclear talks with Iran. In current pace it could take 6 months to get a deal. Another meeting could take place next on December 27th"
  • Abas Aslani at the Center for Middle East Strategic Studies tweets a very different conclusion from an Iranian source: "Iranian source: E3 delegations return to capitals while significant progress has been made vis-a-vis texts & these countries can’t accuse Iran of lack of seriousness or playing for time. Agreement will shortly be within reach if the delegation return with a constructive approach"
