EuroWind Gets Permits For 1GW of Renewables

Danish Eurowind Energy has received permits for around 1GW of renewables over 2023-24 fiscal year across the EU, with the capacity divided between 19 PV farms and 10 wind parks, it said, cited by RenewablesNow.

  • The majority of the projects have guaranteed connection agreements, with several under construction – including a 237MW solar farm in Bulgaria.
  • Poland is leading with 11 new projects, while 5 projects are in Germany, 3 in Romania and 2 in Slovakia and Denmark.
  • The company's development pipeline sits at 53GW.
