  • The Eurozone unemployment rate for October printed in-line with consensus at 6.3% (SA), unchanged from September and therefore remaining at the series low.
  • This latest unchanged figure came despite the youth unemployment rate (for those under 25 years old) rising a tenth to 15.0%.
  • Youths are bearing some of the brunt in softer labour market conditions on a relative basis, with this unemployment rate above the series low of 14.0% in early 2023.
