Extends Gains Above 200-Day EMA

The Kiwi has rebounded after post-RBNZ pressure saw NZD/USD test the $0.62 handle. As broad-based USD weakness continues the pair has extended gains above the 200-Day EMA ($0.6222) and sits at $0.6230/40 up ~0.6% today.

  • NZD/USD sits at its highest level since mid-June, bulls now target the high from 23 May ($0.6303).
  • AUD/NZD has trimmed gains and sits a touch above the $1.08 handle up ~0.2%. The cross was up as much as 0.4% post RBNZ.
