Exxon’s 560,500 bpd Baytown is operating at planned rates despite heavy storms that passed through the area this week according to Reuters sources.

  • It is undergoing the beginning of planned maintenance of an FCC, a catalytic light ends unit and alkylation unit.
  • It comes amidst a spate of high US Gulf refinery maintenance – at the same time Europe is looking to move away from Russian diesel and is seeking imports from across the Atlantic.
