EURO-DOLLAR: *** Fairly quiet session in Asia, trade restricted to $1.1817-35
(if you disregard the opening drop to $1.1807 on the Bbg chart). Rate was slowly
easing away from the Asian high into Europe, the rate extending the pullback to
$1.1810 before it recovered to $1.1820. Rate was buoyed by the Asian sell off in
Jpy, Eur/Jpy buys linked to the move up to $1.1835, with some liking this move
to risk-on. Others suggest that weekend defensive positions were pared as no
major developments seen from the US-NK war of words. Asian traders have reported
sell interest around the $1.1840 area, more at and above $1.1850 linked to
option interest ($1.1847 Aug11 high). Support Seen $1.1810/00.
