Fed's Goolsbee, BoE's Pill the Likely Highlights of Busy Speaker Slate

GLOBAL MARKET/OPINION

We expect the most monetary policy relevant commentary is likely to come from Goolsbee having heard in-depth from Barkin last week at MNI’s Webcast. Goolsbee last week warned that the Fed must monitor risks of overshooting rates.

From the BoE, Pill’s comments will be carefully watched, where he’ll specifically be questioned on “the decisions ahead for the MPC and where monetary policy might be headed over the medium and long term.”
