FinMin More Optimistic Than CNB On Economic Recovery In 2021

  • The Committee on Budgetary Forecasts considered at its Monday meeting the latest FinMin macroeconomic forecasts - GDP growth expected to increase by 3.1% in 2021 and 3.7% in 2022 - to be realistic (7 members out of 9; 1 member considers the forecasts as 'optimistic' and the other one as 'prudential'), according to Bloomberg.
  • In their latest Winter 2021 CNB forecasts, Czech policymakers expected GDP growth to increase by 2.2% in 2021 and by 3.8% in 2022, respectively.
