Firmer On North Korean Missile Launch

US TSYS

Tsy futures firmed on the apparent launch of a North Korean ballistic missile, which landed in the Pacific Ocean.

  • This missile crossed Japanese airspace, triggering a civilian warning for various areas of Japan, including parts of Tokyo (the first time such a warning has been triggered since ’17).
  • The apparent landing of the missile in the sea has allowed Tsy futures to pull back from best levels, with TYZ2 last +0-09 at 113-15+, 0-02 off the peak of its early 0-10 range.
