Firms As Unemployment Rate Holds Steady at 3.5%

AUD has firmed in the aftermath of the March Australian Labour Market Report, the Australian economy added 53.0k jobs and the unemployment rate held steady at 3.5%. The participation rate rose a touch to 66.7%.

  • AUD/USD firmed above $0.67, the pair is currently holding above the handle and last prints at $0.6710/15 up ~0.3%.
  • AUD/NZD has printed its highest level since mid March. The cross last prints at $1.0800/10.
