Firms In Asia, Trims Tuesday's Losses

NZD/USD prints at $0.6150/55, ~0.4% firmer today.

  • Kiwi has trimmed some of Tuesday's losses in the Asian session today. Risk sentiment has improved as Asia-Pac digests the move lower in Tsy Yields seen yesterday. US Equity Futures have nudged higher and BBDXY is a touch lower.
  • Technically the 20-Day EMA ($0.6072) has crossed the 200-Day EMA ($0.6070), bulls target the $0.61 handle and support is at the 200-Day EMA ($0.6070). Bears first target a break of the 200-Day EMA which opens the $0.60 handle.
  • At yesterday's GDT Auction Whole Milk Powder rose 2.1% to $3,104/tonne.
  • Looking ahead, the local docket is empty until Q3 Mfg Activity crosses on Friday.
